Super relieved

I thought some people might have gotten the wrong idea from the last article I posted on here. On the contrary a lot of you understood what I meant and gave me some really nice comments on the article so thank you all for that I really appreciate them! I don’t know what I was so worried about you guys are super great as always!

How using makeup can increase your confidence

Now the psychological understanding of whether makeup actually helps with confidence or not is a bit split. There are studies that claim make up helps a majority of women feel a stronger sense of confidence and there are also studies that set out with the claim that makeup as a concept and an industry is damaging to self-esteem and confidence. Honestly the jury’s split on the whole thing whether or not that makeup primer gesicht is going to boost your confidence. It’s hard to believe anybody when some of these studies in both parties tend to want a certain result when conducting their research, not all of them but some. Instead of debating the psychological effects as based on data collection which is both hard to verify and validate, let’s try to sound it out and see what makes sense then.

Personally I’ve got my own stand on the whole discussion which might seem a bit indecisive to those who’ve already picked a side. I believe that when it comes to the question of whether makeup helps or hurts confidence is that… it depends. Now hear me out I’m not just saying it depends because I don’t want to make anyone angry. I honestly believe that makeup does both. There are so many situations where you can ask this question that it seems a bit silly and short sighted to try and give a blanket statement for all of them. I don’t think you should have anyone dictate to you how you should feel about makeup or how you should think it affects your confidence. Ask yourself if you like putting on some makeup then that’s great roll with it and flaunt your makeup and the skills and confidence that come with it. If you feel like you don’t really like makeup and it makes you feel self-conscious or something like that then by all means avoid makeup and run with your all natural look.

I think makeup is a fantastic tool that gives people the option of highlighting things they like about themselves or covering up some little blemishes that might make them feel a little embarrassed. The logic behind looking your best helps to feel like your best and do your best is well grounded and applied in most professions. Now makeup can help with that if you personally think you need it. Like I said before it really depends but it’s nice to have the option at least.

Update for the Upcoming Post…

I know I promised to post a lot of tips and hacks about cosmetics.
I am doing my best to give you something that would really give you ideas for a budget-friendly grooming routine.

Last week, an article about homemade beard oil was posted here. I’m hoping you guys have learned something from it.
Perhaps, you have started using it at home already? If so, how was it?

Next time, I’m going to post about a product that helps you get rid of dark circles under your eyes, helping to prevent them from being puffy and tired-looking.

I wonder if you have any idea what it is I am talking about? Well, Just stay tuned because I will be posting it here very soon – hopefully next week!

Homemade Grooming Product

When you want to buy something but you have a very tight budget, it is pretty normal to naturally try and find alternatives or find another item that is cheaper in price.

I am definitely one of those people who is very careful when spending money. If I find a way to save money, then I always grab that chance! I always think money isn’t the easiest thing to earn so I like to not spend it so easily either.

Cosmetic products that are available online or on the high street tend to be quite pricey, but do you know a good deal of them can be made at home? What a money saver!

You heard me right! Because of my obsession with cosmetics, I’ve recently done some research to see if there are any common cosmetic products that can be made at home. I was surprised because I actually found quite a lot. Despite this, I’m well aware that the quality will not be as good as the products manufactured by big brands.

I also came across a few articles about a grooming product that is widespread in the market right now with many different varieties that can also be made at home. One of the most interesting articles I read was about making homemade beard oil using the two main ingredients commonly used by manufacturers – the essential oil that provides the main aroma of the finished product, and the carrier oil for diluting and carrying the essential oil into the skin so it won’t harm the skin.

For this process, all you have to do is to mix the two ingredients, and don’t forget to put in a good deal of carrier oil (as it has more important benefits), and only put a small amount of essential oil in because it is mainly only for the scent of the final product. Mix them in a bottle, shake it well, and that’s it! As simple as that! You can now use it right away.

This is a great option if you have a tight budget but of course you have to remember that if you want a product that has some more advanced ingredients in it, you can just go online and look for a budget-friendly but high-quality oil for your beard, just like Percy’s huile pour barbe for instance.

New posts are coming!

The benefits of using mud on your skin

I’m sure I’m right in assuming all of you are aware of what mud is, correct? And whenever you hear this word, what tends to come to your mind first? It is dirty, right? But did you know that it is now widely used as a facial mask? These are very much available all over the internet and in many high street shops.

There are actually quite a few different types of facial mask available such as cream masks, gel masks, sheet masks, exfoliating masks, and the most popular- the clay mask or mud mask. They are all made for different purposes and for different skin types.

I have tried most of them already and without a doubt, my favorite is the mud mask (although all of them are great!). I love the result you get after using it. It really does magical things to your skin.

Mud masks are used not only to nourish your skin, but also to heal the skin, and it is the best way to treat clogged pores and congestion as they work to remove impurities while moisturizing and minimizing the pores.

I have been using a mud mask 1-2 times a week for almost a month now and I can really see a huge difference from before.  It makes my face smooth, no more blackheads, and I’ve already said my goodbyes to my oily skin!

Who would have thought that something called mud could good for your skin? Now, applying my facial mask is one of the most important parts of my beauty routine.

There are different brands available right now, all of which include a variety of different ingredients. There is no one-size-fits-all product out there, so when it comes to choosing, make sure you take all the different ingredients and effects into account in order to help you find your preference.

I know sometimes it can be hard to identify what is the best for you (as most of them give excellent results). If that’s the case, why not try all of them! After all, once you’ve done this it will be easy to pick out the mask you think creates the most youthful, beautiful, and glowing look for your skin.

Let us begin

I’ve set up this blog so I can vent my current frustrations with the world of makeup and beauty.

It really is a case of easier said than done when it comes to having a successful makeup and skincare regime that’s kept within a reasonable budget.

I’ve learnt a lot of tips and hacks over the years that I will be posting up here. Hopefully they will help you out on your journey too.
